Inihaw na Pusit / Grilled Squid Recipe

 ¾ kg cleaned squid whole with tentacles
 ¼ cup lemon juice ,divided
 2 tbsp red chilli flakes
 ¼ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
 12 cups cooking oil
 1 tsp salt
 2 tbsp minced garlic
 2 tsp oyster sauce
 1 tbsp onion,diced

In a mixing bowl , mix the squid, garlic, chilli flakes, 1/3 cup oil, 1-2 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tbsp. onion, parsley, 1 tsp. oyster sauce and 1/2 tsp. salt.
Stirring often. Chill for 1-3 hours.

Pour calamari and marinade into a colander over a bowl.
Mix 1 tbsp.onion , 1 tsp. oyster sauce and garlic .
Put inside the squid.
Brush marinade over cut sides of bread.

Grill on each side over high heat (450° to 550°) until grill marks appear, 3 to 5 minutes. Cut into slices.
