Beef Kaldereta Recipe

 2 lbs beef, cubed
 3 cloves garlic, chopped
 2 medium sized onion, minced
 14.50 oz beef broth
 1 red bell pepper, sliced
 1 green bell pepper, sliced
 1 cup tomato sauce
 1 tsp crushed chili
 4 pcs bay leaves
 3 medium size potatoes, diced
 3 medium size carrots, diced
 ½ cup cooking oil
 1.60 fl oz pineapple juice
 salt and pepper to taste

Heat cooking oil in a large pan.

Add potatoes and carrots and fry until brown. Set aside.

Saute garlic and onion in the same pan.

Add beef and cook for 10 minutes or until brown.

Stir in bay leaves and crushed chili.

Add tomato sauce, pineapple juice, and beef broth.

Add red and green bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes.

Add in potato and carrots and cook for 2 minutes.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve Hot!
